PD InSights is a companion app for the ULTRAChecker, Ultrasound Data Collector from SDT Ultrasound Solutions.
The purpose of PD InSights is to report electrical defects found in high-voltage electrical systems used in all walks of manufacturing, as well as mining, power generation, power distribution, and much more.
Prior to generating heat or any other signs of failure, high voltage electrical systems first produce sources of ultrasound when entering early stages of failure.
Finding these defects with the use of SDTs ULTRAChecker, and reporting them with PD InSights provides Electrical Maintenance and Reliability teams with a means to report defects, schedule repairs, mitigate safety risks, and keep their critical electrical systems functioning at peak capacity.
